Tiffin University's 2nd Annual African American Music Festival

Educational sessions at Tiffin University Performing Arts Lab Evening concert at The Ritz Theatre
Tiffin University welcomes high school, college, church and community choirs for a day of performances, workshops and classes in gospel music, spirituals, and other music steeped in the African American tradition.
Participating choirs receive coaching and choral clinics by experts in gospel music, spirituals, and jazz. Educational sessions on performance, history and pedagogy are open to all students and teachers. All participating choirs may perform during the day or on the evening concert. The festival culminates with a mass choir performance by all participants.
The Festival will be held in Tiffin University's new Performing Arts Lab, with the evening concert at The Ritz Theatre. For info, please email Nellene Arnett at arnettn@tiffin.edu.
Registration is $350 per ensemble, and includes clinics and live recording of the evening concert. Free attendance for individuals. Payment may be made by check or purchase order, payable to Tiffin University. Check or school PO number is due by Friday, January 11, 2019.
